For the most part, yes. When I was a kid I snuck food because I was hungry all the time. I was fed regular meals and I ate them fine, I'm not sure why I was always hungry. I was a chubby child, and I was tested for thyroid diseases etc. and everything always came up normal.
My issues with food these days are that I now have a job where I work from 2:30pm to 10:30pm and I don't get home until after 11 at night, and when I get home I want to eat, and what I was eating was chips and salsa. I do pack myself a dinner every day, a main course (which could be anything from chicken and potatos to cheese raviolis to tyson's popcorn chicken if I'm lazy and don't cook), along with fruit. I eat a little of what I made myself for dinner at lunchtime, and then eat a larger portion of that for dinner. I always eat breakfast too, which is usually cereal or toast or flaxseed granola with milk. I've gained 16lbs since I started this job, clearly I'm doing something wrong with what I eat. It is not a sedentary job by any means, I'm always on my feet walking dogs and cleaning stuff.
I know I should eat more vegetables and less junk. I need to prepare myself a healthy, affordable shopping list before I go to the store next time.
