What type of training do you favor?

None of the above, I individualize to the dog, there is no all fitting, universal training system

Positive reinforcement only? I'm sorry, no one trains like that. They may think they are training like that, but it's really just a marketing term. That's what Melissa Alexander calls The Myth of Purely Positive: http://www.clickertraining.com/node/988

Seems like the training is about split 50/50 between non-aversive and willing-to-use-aversives.

i said correction and reward based training with rewards being praise and petting.

I do what works for my dog. It's never the same. Although, I don't think I have ever used 100% correction training... that seems a bit harsh and unrealistic lol at least for me...

i believe it is all about balance in the system.

I prefer positive based methods. I have plenty of experience in correction based training and I crossed over to positive about 3 years ago.
