My neighbor has a really sweet yellow lab who is about 12 years old and recently got diagnosed with nose cancer. Because of its location the cancer cannot be operated on and it has spider-like tendrils which would be hard to get all of anyways. Without treatment, Sandy has 2-4 months left with her owner (A reallllly awesome dog loving middle aged woman). With treatment, Sandy has up to a year to a year and a half left.
Her mom qualifies for some vet-bill grants from the local vet school so the money won't keep her from getting treatment. But they're both really sweet so if you've got any spare vibes for Sandy and her mom, I'm sure she would appreciate it.
