Um, don't they realize that they can just train MORE dogs to sniff if these two are killed?

I don't think that's the point.
It takes time to train dogs for this kind of thing... and for that amount of time you're loosing millions of dollars in pirated discs these dogs can help take off the street.
So those two dogs are very valueable when kept alive.

And that's a pretty jaded way of looking at the situation... if these two die we'll just train more...

Pretty much every other animal related thing has gotten in lots of trouble for that kind of attitude.

Not when it's a multibillion dollar industry they don't.

I didn't mean "we'll just train more" I meant don't the CRIMINALS know that more can be trained and put to use, not just these two dogs. Sorry for the confusion!
