New collar and the first shave

Today we did a great progress with Pompadour.

Since I got him, we have being practicing with the clipper, I gave him snacks when I turned the clipper.

The breeder gave him a puppy clip before giving the pup to me, she did a great job.

But he is still young and he was a bit afraid of the sound and vibration of the clipper (that is an andis)

Like two weeks ago I managed to shave his feet.

Today all that training worked

He is not afraid of the sound any more, and he let me shave his face and throat :hail: I used a #40 blade like the breeder told me, This is the first time I shave a dog face.

Cute little floofy dog! I love Pompadour; he always looks ready for mischief. And congratulations on teaching him that clippers are our friend, an important attitude in a show dog.
