Introducing. . . .

Miss New Dog No Name. I posted on here a little bit ago asking what everyone thought she might be. Well, I went down to animal care and control to have a look at her and wound up bringing her home :lol-sign: She isnt exactly what I was looking for, a little small, but she was just so sweet, great personality, and Shadow really seemed to like her so I caved and brought her home. I have a few more pics and was wondering what everyone thought. The shelter had her a saint mix, which I think is wrong. Im guessing beagle/foxhound something like that. I tried to get a pic of her with shadow, but the two of them just wouldnt sit still, so theres a kinda bad one. Shadow is a little over 50 pounds.

Her snout is quite a bit shorter than my sister foxhound, but other than that the heads are very similar.

I don't know what she is, but she's cute!!!

Maybe some beagle/terrier?

The face isn't as soft as most scenthounds, it looks more terrier-ish. I'd say beagle/JRT depending on the size.

Oh she is gorgeous!!

I just took the two of them for a walk and the more i look at her, the more i think beagle. I cant wait until she actually starts talking, she hasnt made a peep yet. Im interested to see what she does (bay, bark, the bark-whine my sisters foxhound does). In just a few hours shes really opening up. I just got her to actually puppy play, before that she kept running away from me. And, shadow actually let her walk past him while he was laying in a door jam, major points for him. I personally dont see much jrt in her, but it may just be because of her size, her head and snout are a little blocky and from what Ive experienced with jrts theyre a little thinner, but who knows, shes probably mostly heinz 57. Im thinking she'll be about shadows size, maybe 50 pounds. Her feet arent very big, but who knows, she def needs to put some weight and muscle on.

Oh, shes also shedding like a maniac if that helps. Pretty coarse hairs, of course it is like 115 here, so id shed too!

I see Beagle in the muzzle and markings. He's adorable.
