I know my dog has hip displaysia. I know he has a slight heart murmer... but I know nothing about his eyes. Is there a way a doctor can test for that? I'm not talking about the expensive test that they use on purebreds, but just a check to make sure there's nothign wrong. Is that part of the regular health exam or do you have to ask for it?
I'm probably going to make the jump from taking my dog to a regular vet to taking him to the Veterinarian teaching hospital at the University in a few months, so i am just trying to get a list together of everything I want to remember to ask about his health.
