probiotics and enzymes

I'm currently using naturvet. it's got about 100 million per gram (yes, Mordy... i know it's not as strong) :lol-sign:

my question is, how well is this products shelf life? It's kept on regular shelves at the store.

Also, the directions tell me to mix with the food.
Another website said to feed 30 minutes before feeding. which is correct?

Since the amount of probiotics are low, can i double up the dosage?

Since you've already made a probiotics thread, I will throw in my question too, if you don't mind...

Is it okay to feed a human grade probiotic? What's the proper dosage?

Melissa, I feed Holly a human grade Acidophilus and I just give her 1/2 a tablet with her meals.
