My puppy chipped a tooth

Is it a permanent one? If it's a puppy tooth, I wouldn't worry about it, it will fall out soon anyway.

He's almost 2, so it's probably permanent. I probably should have made that a little more clear.

If tis jsut the tip it shouldn't be hurting him(my cousins lab chews rocks and has ground her teeth down:eek: ) but if it is snapped father down they may remove it. If you are not showing or anyhting it shouldn't be ahuge deal. Does he act like hes in pain?

Talk to your vet. A tooth chip may not seem a big deal but if it is into the dentin of the tooth, then it has opened a pathway for infection.

You need to talk to your vet and see a canine dental SPECIALIST, your vet may not realize the seriousness of it either.

How much broke off?
