She keeps ripping the bandage off her leg, and I hate using the E collar. Does anyone know what I can spray on it so she won't chew it, that is harmless to her??

Vinegar does wonders! I got that bitter apple stuff at a pet store once but it didn't seem to stop my little guy, but vinegar sure did! good luck! :)

just be careful putting any liquid on a bandage... many bandages need to stay as dry as possible... many people now make more comfortable e collars... I have a really nice one for my guys.

It seems to have worked. I didn't soak her bandage, I just put some vinegar on a cotton ball and dabbed it on the outer layer of her bandage. She hasn't chewed on it all day. I will be SO happy when her leg heals and we can take the stupid thing off!

Bitter apple gel. THe spray doesn't last long enough but the gel sure as heck will. You get it at most pet stores.
