Meet my cousin's dog, Favre!

pronounced "Farv", named after Brett Favre, the football player. The person she bought him from told her he was a purebred Chihuahua. Um yeah, ok then. He is about two years old now. He lives in Pennsylvania. These pics were taken at my aunt's house. So, what's YOUR guess?opcorn:

On the deck. With them big ears, he could be part rat terrier.

For some reason he reminds me of an AE. I don't think there's really any resemblance, so scratch that. I agree w/ some sort of terrier.

For some reason I am reminded of laurelin's chinchilla. Now I know that's not as breed of dog, but...

I'd say he is a Chihuahua/Corgi mix. You can definately see both breeds in him.

Chihuahua- Eyes, tail, and body shape somewhat
Corgi- ears, coloring, fur length and body shape somewhat

I thought corgi before I even read the post--I was surprised it was a chi!! LOL

I see Corgi/Chi too but if thats the case I sure hope the dam was the Corgi!!!

I don't know much about dog breeds but that looks like the body of a pug.

another vote for corgi/chihuahua, the curled tail is a little tight but could very easily be a chi and those ears could easily be chi or corgi...

off hand id say chi/corgi would be your most likely combo.

I vote for Chi/Corgi as well. That was my first thought when I saw him. He's adorable, by the way.
