I would like to have this a poll but its not giving me that option

Since I am going to be breeding I need to regester a kennel name with the CKC. Tell me what you think of these:


1) Templar Doberman

2) Rembrandt Dobermans

3) Aquila Doberman (Italian for Eagle. Dobermans are famous of thier Look of Eagles)

4) Amore Dobermans (itallian for Love)

i vote out Rembrant as it reminds me of toothpaste.

I like Aquila best.

Oh and with Rembrandt I was thinking more of the painter since Monet is allready taken as a kennel name

step one: do a search of dog records and make sure no one is using those names.

It is generally advisable if you can to use a MADE UP NAME, because then it is yours and yours alone and no one will ever be using it.

Red with the CKC you put in 3 selections and they do a search for CKC reg kennel names and reject it if it is being used. If all 3 are used then they send it back and you get to start over.

I thought of making one up but I just cant think of anything

Try searching for a name generator on Google. It will give you a ton of names, and I'm pretty sure you can find one you like!

I really like Aquila, but I'm almost positive there is already a kennel named that. I remember browsing a website with Aquila dogs, though I could be wrong and they aren't Dobes... but it was probably AKC anyhow.

If Aquila isn't taken, 2) Rembrandt Dobermans wins my vote.

whatever the shortest one is if you have letter limits for names! I regret my choice often due to its length LOL.
