I switched Andy from Nutro to Royal Canin about a week and a half ago. The past few days he isn't going #2 hardly at all. Should I be worried about this? He used to go poopy like 3-5 times a day and he would produce A LOT! Now he is going just once or twice a day and he isn't producing hardly any. Is this a problem or could it be because he is absorbing more food?? Mordy, can you help me out with this?

I don't think anything is wrong unless he's acting weird....when I switche to Royal Canin, my pup went from going #2 three times a day to only once a day

If the stool looks normal, there's no reason to be concerned.

Royal Canin contains a lot less grains and fillers, so that may well be why you see less poop. :) Feeding a better quality food is one of the things that generally also makes potty training puppies a lot easier. :)

Awesome....that's what I thought but I just wanted to make sure. He's been pooping so much since I got him, it's just so weird to only be taking him out once or twice now. Definitely a nice change though...;)
