Our 6 1/2 month old pup has been potty trained for almost two months now, and has not had an accident in over 5 weeks. Today, I took her on a walk at 2:30 for about 25 minutes in which time she peed at least once. At 4:00 I fed her. At 5:00 I was just getting ready to take her out when I see her squatting! Why would she do that? She usually hangs around the door and whimpers if she really needs to go that bad- she didn't do that. I know she can hold it much longer because she holds it all night- sometimes for over 9 hours. So why would she just pee on the carpet like this?

accidents happen. However, if you notice a few accidents in a row make sure to take her to the vet and do a pee sample. Many pups get Urinary tract infections and then they can't "hold it" at all.

Wrigley had a few set backs around the age (had a few accidents). I heard it is quite common.

I think it's just to let you know they aren't perfectly trained yet!

Also if it does keep happening take her in to the vet.
