We put Chevy down at 9:00 this morning. She was blind, deaf, losing weight rapidly, and just in overall bad health. She is know free from suffering and can run and play with Nala.

You've had to let too many go lately, Tex. May there be no more good-byes for you for a long time now.

But, what a life Chevy had! In the days to come, remember the wonders you shared and celebrate your time together, knowing Chevy is never really gone.

I'm so sorry--it is hard to let them go, no matter the circumstance. She looks like she was well loved.

Run free Chevy. There's creeks and woods and meadows galore for you and angels to keep you company until one day when you can have all your family there.

I am very very sorry for your loss.
