I hadn't seen him for almost 2 years, but he lived at my store for almost the first whole year i worked here. He was Izzie's best kitty friend since she was just a pup. He taught her how to climb to the top of the cat tree and scale the treat shelves. I'll never forget him strutting around on top of the 10 foot high shelves looking down on his subjects.
We adopted him out because he was lonely all by himself at the store, he began to take a dislike for large dogs entering his store and would pounce on them. He wasn't happy here. His adoptive family love him and he ruled his new home with an iron paw, he was finally the king.
His adoptive mum came in today to buy food for her dogs and she let me know that about 10 days ago he laid down for a nap with her and never woke up. A kitty of no more than 8, he died peacefully in his sleep from what seems to have been a heart attack or stroke.
