Friends

One of my favorite pictures of these two of all time:

So cute! They are two peas in a pod.

And lucky -- Bailey and Grace are super jealous that they get a hole! They keep trying to dig their own and I keep putting the kibosh on it. Turns out the sandbox just isn't a good substitute for dirt.

They really do enjoy each other, don't they?

I actually originally gave up on the lawn in the backyard not because of the dogs, but because in the spring it goes through a flood/freeze cycle that kills the grass every. single. year. as it's the low point of our block.

It was just a happy bonus for the dogs* that I was defeated by nature.


*And for me, I guess, since I don't have to stress out about them digging.

Oh god yes. Sometimes I try to remember what Maisy did with all her time before Squash came into our lives... and I can't for the life of me remember what she did with herself.

Great pics; looks like they tired each other out. I'd rather have the dogs than a perfect lawn!
