Yay Zap!! It's amazing what routine and structure can do for a dog.

Nolu, I'm sorry, but he's really hard to photograph since Eve's been in heat. He has no recall so he has to be on leash outside the garage, and inside the garage is... ugly. And inside the house he's so spastic that he's too fast for my lens and flash, lol!

I'll keep trying but I can't promise any decent shots. I could do video though I guess, if he chills out a bit.

Not really, he's confined a lot more than usual since all his focus and reliability has gone out the window since Eve has been in heat. If I had the $240 I'd adopt and neuter him really soon, but he's nearly out of food and I have to make the trip into Phoenix tomorrow to buy him more food, replacement toys and look into a larger crate, because I know within a few months he will need one.

He continues to be more sociable with people and is a complete goof with other dogs. He gets prettier every day... when I get my battery charger back I'll get some photos of him.

RD, you are doing great, and so is Zap. You just have to be very, very patient, and focus on the positive, which it sounds like there is plenty of. It took eleven months before Uncle Fred was really "normal" and even then it is relative.

I don't think he will ever adjust to men approaching him and trying to pet him by putting a hand higher than his head. Of course, now instead of cowering he howls at them, and backs off. He just kept getting a little better, day after day.

Like in the movie "What about Bob?" it's all about baby steps.

Thanks Baxter'smybaby. You're the Best.
