Default Chew chew lick lick lick

Stryder is constantly chewing on his front and back feet, and his private areas. At first I thought he was allergic to chicken.. thats the only meat ingredient in all the foods I have fed him up to a few months ago. His ears arent inflamed and yeasty anymore, but still he continues the chewing, and the licking.

I'm assuming now that he MUST be allergic to something else. Other than getting him tested - which I mean to do when I get the money - is there anything else I can do for him?

You can simply try feeding a very simple, novel diet to Stryder. Perhaps a fish and potato diet for a good six weeks and see if his issues begin to clear up.

Get him tested asap. Look into systemic yeast infections as well. Give him a bath weekly, twice weekly if you can. Put an e-collar so that he can't chew. You can try soaking his feet in apple cider vinegar as well, half water.

I'm about to try soaking my dogs feet in epsom salt and water... I'm running out of ideas myself! Good luck.

He may just be bored. A lot of dogs chew/lick themselves when they're bored as it's something to do.
