So, I have been dedicating myself lately, to trying to teach Fozzie to fetch a ball. You've probably seen me complaining before... about how little ball drive he has. I have literally been trying since the DAY I adopted him to get him to fetch!
I resorted to doing all I could to convince him that bringing the ball back to me results in tons of fun. But, that wasn't the first issue. He had no desire to chase a ball... well... unless Gonzo was also going for it, and he could play keep-away-from-the-angry-Border-Collie. At first, he got a treat or a tugtoy when ever he brought it back to me, even from a few feet away. And after weeks of that, and slowly weaning him from rewards, he actually likes fetching! I am so excited! That means, he could have a future in Flyball.

Oh, how I hate you
![]() Seriously though, HUGE CONGRATS! I'm extremely jealous, Izzy and I started our 10 billionth round of starting to build ball drive today... |

Aww, I believe in you, Lauren. ;3 But honestly... it did take lots of work. I basically had to brainwash him. I think buying squeaky Kong tennis balls helped tremendously, too. Fozzie freaking loves those!
He just brought me a ball, while I was typing out the post. I'm so happy that I have another balldog! Gonzo is enfuriated. Haha. Here is another video, just for fun... of Gonzo messing up several of his tricks. D: The better video is on his Dogster. (only slightly better)

Ohh... you must tell me how you trained all the neat tricks! They're so cute.
