Just appear like that?

So when I got my border collie, his snout was just pure white, with a few freckles on his nose, and his mouth. Hes now just over 3 months and I notice over the past few days hes getting more and more freckles..they just appear..LOL...and they are going all up his snout..I mean, they are very tiny, but its weird how they are just appearing now??? Or do they do that??

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE them..I find them VERY cute!!...I didn't know they could appear still??

Yup, spots will form more as he gets older, some BC's start out lightly speckeled and end up pretty spotty by the time they hit maturity. Even Smkie's Victor had more spots develop on him after he turned 1.

Yup, he's going to develop spots until he's fully grown and his adult coat comes in.

Eve started off almost pure white and now she has little spots all over her white patches.
