Dog attack - woman has lost an arm

I know that, but by their logic banning pit bulls would stop these kinds of things, and its worked real well, hasn't it?

No - the logic was that banning pit bulls would stop pit bull attacks - and through a process of elimination, it has
 They didn't ban pit bulls to stop rottie attacks, or lab attacks

Well, the logic was to stop pit bull attacks, but since they seemed to think pit bulls were responsible for a disproportionate number of dog attacks, the theory would be that there would be fewer people hurt by dogs. I have no idea how well this worked in England, but I believe it was a total failure where they have installed breed bans here. Irresponsible owners will just get another breed . . .
