LOL, I guess she figured she would save some for later. What do you use dehydrated lamb lungs for?

LOL, Lizzie does the exact same thing. She's the first dog I've ever seen do this, too

Yeah, never give cooked bones of any kind. Only Raw.

I was just thinking about why they do this yesterday.

I gave my GSP a turkey neck and my other 2 some chicken necks. Little one gobbled theirs and the GSP buried his in the yard. Few hours later he is being chased by the little ones with a dirt covered turkey neck in his mouth. He played tug-o-war with it with one of my little dogs (who tore a piece off and promptly ate it) and eventually laid down and ate the rest.

well they think that you won't give theam 'treats' everyday... so, they're hiding bones and keeping them for days when you won't give them.

Hmmm, mine always have chews available. I think mine hide theirs mainly because they don't want to chew on it right that moment -- they could be "full" already -- and definitely don't want anyone else chewing on it.

My mother has an absolutely neurotic dachshund that will run around and whine when she has something she doesn't want to chew on immediately. She hides it, may leave it for a minute or so, then gets it again and looks for another hiding spot (while whining the entire time).

I agree, I think its that they don't want anybody else to get it.
