Sounds like it could just be Pano??? Don't know how common it is in this breed, but is worth looking into.

What about Pano? Is that common in Wheatons?

Would Pano affect a dog that will probably only be 40 pounds top at maturity though? It sounds like it's geared more towards the larger breeds...

I don't think it's common for it to affect smaller dogs, but I'm sure it's entirely possible. The symptoms you describe sound like it's a possibility, especially if nothing is showing up in xrays.
