Dog aggression may be the only thing that would keep me from getting one. Not that I'm worried about managing it in public, it would be that I would only be able to get one dog. So if when the time comes I only want one dog an know I will not get another then I may very well get a Pit. If the time comes and I know I want multiples then I will not get a Pit.

I love Boxers (I very much want one) it just seems they have horrible health. My cousin's dies at 4 or 5 years old. He was coming into the kitchen after his owner called him to get a treat and he just dropped dead in mid step.

better to be safe than to have a tragedy on your hands that could have been avoided.
Yes, he is very much still a puppy and he still has a lot of maturing to do. I stopped taking him to the dog park when he turned 4 months. He has a large crate that I put him in when I leave the house. I never leave him unattended when he is out of the crate.

One thing I have noticed is that he will try to protect his two sisters (pug and chihuahua) when another dog is around. Something I noticed a couple months ago.

One thing I forgot to mention... reggin grew up with his two sisters (chihuahua and pug). That is why he is so good with them. I would be way more worried getting an older pit and then having it live with strange cats. I personally wouldnt trust it. Not sure about other pits, but reggin loves to chase things. if he sees a cat running, he will try to go after it.

If you get a boxer from a reputable breeder they should have a life span of about 8 to 10 years. I wouldnt count on the health of ANY breed if the particular dog/puppy came from a byb since none of them do health testing.
