Giardia - How do you get rid of it?

About 4 months ago, we got a new puppy that came infected with Giardia. She of course infected our other dog. So they both got Giardia. We put them both on the medication to get rid of it that the vet gave us and proceeded to bleach our house.

4 months later and 3 treatments into this, we were just told today that they still have it.

We bleached our house twice. And we pick up their poop everyday.

Do we have to tear out our backyard to get rid of this **** parasite?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Giardia is very tricky to get rid of, you may need a new bout of medication this time.

If they are consistantly suffering from Giardia - you might want to consider the Giardia vaccine.
