Default What does "Nala" mean?
I've met several dogs named "Nala". I'm assuming that means something in another language? Just curious if anyone knows

I'm guessing it's named after The Lion King. Maybe a kid likes the movie a lot? I know Simba means lion, but I'm not sure what Nala means.

It's the name of one of the lion's in the movie "The Lion King" That's probably why it is so popular.
