Default Freezer Burn Roasts ??

Just checking I figure it should be ok, found 2 Pot roasts buried in the back of the freezer been there over a yr all caked in ice etc in supermarket plastic. Would it be ok to toss them in the crockpot with some carrots etc and give to the dog still ?

Or just give it to them raw. I have my friends save all their freezer burned meat for us. The dogs don't care!
