yeah, at first glance it looks expensive, but you don't feed the same amounts you'd feed kibble for example.
one recipe [1 cup urban wolf + 1 pound of raw or cooked meat + 1.5 cups water + 2 tablespoons oil (fish oil is best)] makes 2 days worth of meals for a 50 lb dog.
