He looks like he could have a little pit, but I see some hound too. I don't really see lab or border collie. Very cute though

THe rescuers said they could visibly see border collie in the mom and the only unneutered males in the area was a labrador retreiver and a burnese mountain dog.

He could be part Pit Bull, but the ears don't really mean much in that regard. Wait until he's done growing, and you may have an easier time telling. Puppies go through some interesting stages in their development, and they can change a lot.

His face reminds me of that of a Lab puppy. Rose ears aren't exclusive to Pit Bulls - a lot of Border Collies have them too.
