I mostly read fiction novels by Lois Duncan. I just love her books. I recently finished "Gallows Hill" and now I've started "Who Killed My Daughter?", a non-fiction based on the murder of her daughter.

Honestly, I thought it dragged on waaaay too long. It threw me off and since I already knew how it ended, I stopped reading it completely. The ending is good but not good enough for me to read through 10 pages of King describing a mahogany chair. He's got that problem in a lot of his books.

That was a while ago though.

The last book I completed was "The Funhouse" by Dean Koontz

I'm now currently reading: "Whispers" by Dean Koontz

I just finished Stephen King's "Cell" not too long ago. Good premise, but I found the same thing as you by the end. The last quarter of the book just seemed to be filling time, kwim? I got the the end and thought, "Eh? That's it?".

Now I'm reading "Forever Odd" by Dean Koontz. I think it's the second in a series but I didn't read the first one. Haven't gotten far enough into it to tell if I like it or not, but I haven't put it back on my bookshelf yet.

I'm glad this was brought up again. I was desperately searching for a good book to read. Now I'll just go through this again and see if there's anything I'm interested in.
