Having used a rolled bridle leather collar for almost 60 years , to me that's it . Last forever, don't wear the hair and easy to clean with Murphy's Oil Soap . I've got 5 here in all sizes ..... only have thrown one out and that was my fault because I didn't keep it oiled . I know today's style is color ... they don't last .

I recommend lupine if you want something fashionable. They are guaranteed for life, even if chewed. You send back the pieces, they send you a new collar no questions asked, and the prive is very reasonable.

The reason I like the ORing is because I have had this type of collar with one and without....and my dogs slipped their collars when I used the one without the ORing. They never slip these. I don't know why.
And the ones with the ORing seem more heavy duty than without.

I guess if the snap on your leash was heavy the collar would still spin to the side a little...but I never have a problem with that either.
And if you would hook any tags on the buckle that would help hold it under the neck...and the ORing would stay in the back better.
I have hooked tags on either place though.

Spirit, Charlie weighs about 94 lbs and I think his collar is 26 inch, if I remember correctly. Lol
What would you suggest I search for to find the o ring collars? I did a search (Australia) for "dog o ring collars". I can't find any similar to this one. :/

Has anyone seen these before; are they any good?

Or would a harness be better?

It's okay, I am in Australia, so I was trying to find one here. I am sure there is something like it somewhere; I haven't had a chance to search yet. But thanks!
