Small Places, Large Issues by T.H. Eriksen. It's a must have anthropological book..... you can't stop reading it!

Just bought it Friday... "Animals in Translation". What did you think of it Jess? Also bought, "You: The Owners Manual". Hope to read both before Christmas, but it takes me awhile!

I am now reading The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down by Anne Fadiman.

I'm just a few chapters in and I'm already gobsmacked. The clash of the Hmong and American cultures and the young girls life at stake... it's a must read for those who are really interested in cultures.

I'm looking to read Animals In Translation next and then start the Harry Potter series.

I haven't finished it yet, I'm about halfway through, but the Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini is phenomenal.

Right now I am reading Soiled Doves by Anne Seagraves. It's very interesting. I picked it up when I went to Tombstone a couple months ago.
