my dogs hair is VERY thin!

this is especcially for short-haired dog owners!My dog. Wendy (as shown in my avatar)

i really have NO need for dog brushing.i do every once in a while after shes been playing in snow and mud just to dry her off and get the mud out of her fur. do other short haired dog owners do this?
