We picked up 2 new puppies GSD/ROT at 61/2 weeks old they were both rather small. Now at 9 weeks Foster is gaining weight and acting like a normal puppy but Guiness who must have been the runt of the litter is only 2.5 lbs. We are feeding him nutro large breed lamb and rice the same food the Rescue was feeding them. They do have worms and are being treated for them. My question is should I change the food I am giving them.
Foster is also becomming a bully since his brother is so small how should I handle this. Thanks

2 pups from the same litter need extra treatment. The larger one is wanting to be the alpha.......YOU have to be the alpha. 2.5 # is small at 9 weeks for a GSD/ROT mix. The shelter should have wormed them .....check with the vet again.

Absolutely change from the Nutro. I'd strongly suggest you go to Mordy's site and contact her about some advice for Guinness' diet especially.
Love the names, by the way!
