Yes, we will be off to the Vet today. I did take her for a vet check but it was very cursery (sp?) or quick and no depth. They weighed her and looked her over and that was pretty much the extent of it. Yes, will vet this morning. She is still eating well and has normal puppy energy this morning.
Herschel, I've never heard of Canidae dog food. I assumed that since my vet sells Science Diet that it is the best. Is Canidae fairly common or would I need to look for it in pet stores or ?? Thanks Again, LillyLover

LillyLover, you should really go check out www.dogfoodproject.com. It's wealth of information about dog nutrition and what's actually in the foods you feed. The Dog Food and Recipies forum on this board too is a great place, and the lady who runs the DFP is also around quite a bit here.
For an easy answer, most vets know diddly-squat about nutrition and that the reason they sell Science Diet is because A) their "nutrition course" in vet school was delivered and sponsered by the makers of Science Diet and B) they get financial kick-backs for selling the food out of their practice.
