shih tzu testicle size?

hey everyone
the other day, milo was doing his usual licking and i noticed his testicles were pretty big. and pink. should i be worried. this is my first dog and so im not sure what they are supposed to look like, but i was a little worried should i take this up to the vet. they are about al ittle bigger than grapes and hes a 10lb shih tzu.. help & thanks to thoes who answer & could help.

I'd take him to the vet for sure. Is he a show dog? Otherwise you should look into neutering him (if he's old enough.)

How old is he? That is a normal size.

What does neutering have to do with her question.

How pink are they? Is he starting to lick them raw? A vet visit may be in order if the licking is causing rawness. I believe there is a cream called Panalog? that will help with rawness caused by licking. If not, you could try spraying some apple bitters on his testicles (as long as there are no open sores OUCH) to stop his licking for a while and see if they change at all. There is no way to tell what is normal for size (within reason) of testicles as it is a genetic trait and dogs, just like humans, will come in different sizes.
