My grand daughter stayed all night with me last night. We had a great time. She is 16 months old now but she thinks she's so much older. I love watching her with Princess. She gets alittle rough (has started tackling Princess to give her hugs). Today she helped me give Princess a much needed bath. It was so funny. As I've said before Princess really has serious problems with taking baths. While I'm singing songs to Princess to calm her down, Ashlyn digs out her bath toys and tosses them in the tub for Princess to play with, saying "here". THEN she starts climbing into the tub! So I'm laughing, trying to make sure Princess doesnt make a jump out of the tub (totally soaped up), and try to keep Ashlyn from climbing in the tub, plus try to keep from losing my hose which would spray water everywhere, all at the same time. I wish I could have caut that moment on film.
I cant wait to see how she reacts to Princess' baby sister next week. Ashlyn's daddy doesnt like dogs at all, have a feeling this little girl is going to change his mind on dogs because she is going to be a dog lover. |

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh they're never gone.....they're etched into our memories. Trouble is we can only share in words, and not in pictures.....hold them close to you !

This is a great memory to hold on to. I could see the whole thing happening as you described it. Sounds like Ashlyn is your little helper.
