awww...bassets. *sob* I had a baby basset named Daisy Duke for about 4 months before she had to be put down do to a really traumatic injury. She was by far one of the sweetest dogs ever. She let my other pup drag her around by her ears. She was sooo cute. Her only big flaw was she had trouble not pottying in the house, but that was maybe attributed to something that was wrong with her. She loved to play and also loved to lay around, a very laid back dog. If you don't have a terribly active lifestyle these guys are great, but I took her on loooong hikes and she held up fine too. I love their ears... do my ears hang low.. do they wobble to and fro.. can you tie them in a knot.. can you tie them in a bow.. can you throw them over your shoulder like a continental soldier.. do your ears hang low
