How long does it take for you to see a bad reaction with a new food? Lizzie has been on Exclusive Puppy (Chicken and Rice) and the day before yesterday she got a bad bout of diarea (?) and yesterday she was still pooping a bit mushy. This morning when I went to take her out of her crate the poor girl had soiled in her crate
She has NEVER EVER soiled in her crate so I know she had to be feeling pretty bad to not be able to hold it. She looked absolutely miserable. Im making her a bit of pumpkin to see if that will firm up her stools. By the way ive been feeding Exclusive for exactly one week today. Would I have seen the reaction right away? Or is this the time where everything goes wrong? I hope its not the food, I got the feed shop to special order an 18lb bag for me and Id hate to tell them I wont need it Please Help!!

See if the pumpkin doesn't help and give her another week or so on the food. Right now she is probably just cleaning out and doing a bit of detox.
Make sure she drinks often, but in smaller amounts.
