Okay, so we have a new family member  .

An orphaned baby crow has taken residence with our family. She is not yet old enough to walk (baby birds walk on their elbows) so she 'hobbles', with wings spread wide, LOL. Anyway, we have called her Loki (thanks summerRiot, I remember seeing you post this somewhere :)) and she is still a nestling. Anyhow, we have found she is a fussy eater and I am not sure if she is getting enough. Right now, she is eating boiled egg dipped in water (she likes it when I dip it in water  ). Supposedly (I have never raised a crow before, but I have raised Robins, and Stellar Jays) they need a high protein diet, so can anyone suggest anything?
I'll post pics later, my Final Exams are later today :( .

Thanks Julie...

I have looked at those sites and they were helpful. Now, if I can find my camera, I'll take some photos.

What did you feed yours?
Mine is a fussy eater :(.
Also, I think one of her legs is paralysed. She cant clench with it or anything.

Ya, she has turned into quite the little pig.
However, we got her examined and her leg is broken. A splint is being put on later today :(.
Supposedly, she is going to be okay and will function pretty well though.
Wish us luck!
