Toby's groomer recently started giving out "report cards" at the end of their grooming sessions. I think its a neat idea....
It gives the groomer a chance to write down any concerns that they may have spotted during grooming. It also provides the owner with some feedback as to how their pup behaved during their stay. Does anyone else's groomer do this? ![]() There's another page on the other side (I didn't take a pic of it though). That side gives the groomer a chance to note any concerns such as skin, fur and lumps....etc..... |

The place I work does something similar. It is fun, and most of the people seem to appreciate it.

My groomer does the same thing but what I really like is that he works out of my vet's office so if he notices something that should be checked he'll let my vet know & he will give check them over and give me a call.

I don't have paper that I fill out, but I make sure to tell them about any potential problem that i notice during the grooming process.
as for behavior, not only do i note the dogs behavior, but i also include the circumstances. I have a few dogs that love quiet. If there is a "barker" there, i know they will be less cooperative. same with size of dogs, amount of people/activity, it all has bearing on how they behave. Dogs may be dogs, but they have such "person"-ality giving them good days and bad. but don't we all And why else would we love them so?
