Dangerous foods?

hello! i was reading an article recently, that pancakes are harmful to dogs! i had never jeard this-but it caused me to wonder, and this is my question to you guys:
-is bread harmful to dogs?
i ask because my mom's Min-Pin loves bread & french fries...bit i've noticed when she has "alot" of bread, she becomes stressed out looking, especially in her hind quarters area.

i only know enough NOT to give her raw onions and chocolate.

I'd definitely cut back on the french fries, too, especially if they're commercially prepared. You don't really know what's in the frozen ones, and the fast-food fries are mystery foods.
