I am looking for a dog that can watch my house while I am at school, interact well with other dogs, and likes to run and have fun. I have a dog now that does all of these very well, but he is old now and can't take walks and stuff with my mom. So we need a dog that can do all of these things and play with my dog and my cat. I want the dog to start small as a puppy but then it has to grow into a big dog. I was thinking of a Golden Retriever, but I don't know if there are any other dogs that I might be interested in. Please tell me what I might want.

Go down to your local dog pound and see what they have available.
You will be able to see the dog and gain a sense of his personalilty. Lots of good dogs at the dog pound and helpful advice for chosing one ![]() Chazhound |

I'll second that advice! And if you're open to adopting a dog that's nearer to being an adult, it might be a bit easier on your dog than having to deal with a very young puppy, plus it can be difficult to deal with all the training that goes with having a new puppy when you're in school.

Their are many rounded dogs like the Golden Retriever or even the Boxer, but to get an idea you should go to this website.
