When my guina pig had severe dyrieah (Dang I cant spell) We have her unflavored pedialyte. Its good to give anything to help keep off dyhidration, so you might want to try that,

i would definitely get a second opinion and also find a different vet. chemicals can be very damaging if not treated properly in a timely manner.
on a completely different note: throw out the ammonia based cleaner. ammonia is the substance that makes a sopt attractive to puppies and kittens to seek it our and pee on it again even after it's cleaned up. get a gentle enzyme based cleaner like petastic or nature's miracle, they are safe to use around pets and break down waste residue completely.

UPDATE******************
sheba's doing awesome now! we decided that we were just gonna keep giving her the stomach medicine & the calve "electrolyte" stuff... im most sure thats what it was... and im not sure why the vet wouldnt just let my mom or sisters give sheba fluid injections.. i guess they wanted to make money. but for two days sheba only had the medicine and calve food. eventually she stopped throwing up her stomach and intestinal contents through her mouth... she started pooping it out and she hasn't thrown up since. the vet called the next day & asked how she had been doing... and so i told him, and he said she could start eating the meaty food again. so i tried that.. and to my surprise.. sheba kept it all down. its been 3 days now i think.. or 2.. and shes feeling better than ever. im so happy that she made it through. i also prayed to see maybe that could help me. you can never go wrong with praying. thanks to everyone who replied to me... ur advice helped actually. here is a picture of my puppy sheba. she is a huskie-sheppard cross... shes gonna be a big dog!! <img src="http://www.chazhound.com/pictures/data//500/medium/doggie.JPG"> http://www.chazhound.com/pictures/da...ium/doggie.JPG
