Wellness = Diarrhea

What in Wellness causes this? I have read NUMEROUS post with people stating this over and over. I know their formula changed a while back but what exactly do they have that causes this?

My friend got sold on a bag of Wellness Puppy Mix because the introductory offer was $3.99 and has a coupon inside for $4.00.... well now they too are having problems.... I told them to give some canned pumpkin or plain yogurt but not sure how much they should give. They have a 4lb 5 month old puppy.

My dog has done great on the enhanced wellness. He actually enjoys it more

I know the old formula was chicken and fish, but the new formula is chicken and chicken meal. If the food is over feed it can cause diarrhea. Check the feeding directions just to be sure.

As for the pumpkin I would start with 1 heaping tablespoon for that little pup. You can alway give more if he needs it.

Another thing they did that is new is they sprayed the finished kibble with chicken broth (according to a rep from Wellness). I'm not sure why, but my puppy got very sick after they switched formulas. Switched to Timberwolf Organics and he is doing 100% better. I was very upset that Wellness ruined a perfectly good formula!
