Do you ever look at him, Pits, and ask him what he did with that little, itty-bitty, fluffy puppy?
He's going to be a Real Dog when he grows up. By the way, what exactly does a wheel dog do?

Lol I do often I can't beleive how big he has grown.
Wheel dogs are the two dogs you see closest to the sled pulling.

i was wondering what a wheel dogs was too. i want to do that one day but i dont live in a place that sledding is feasible

That would be a tough job. I'd think the physics of the whole set up is such that the two closest dogs exert the most effort, particularly in starts.

thats true renee and thats why you put the most physically able dogs to be wheel dogs. But you also want lenght in the traces so for the most part the weight is evenly distributed through out the team.
