Smkie, you'd have loved my blue Gonzo. No litter box for him - he used the toilet. He was a wonderful creature. He liked to sleep with his head under my chin and his paws around my neck . . . I miss him so much.

I had a psych teacher who taught her cat by putting the litter box next to the toilet. Then putting a phone book under it and leaving it for a week to get used to it. Each week she added a new phone book until it was the height of the toilet. Then she put the box on the toilet for a week and then just took the box away. I think it's better if you have an extra bathroom.
