fixing your puppy

my friend tara adopted a dog and got it fixed at a year of age and he squats to pee. he marks but i've only seen him do it once or twice in the year i've lived here

i can tell you it's a myth because my dog was neutered at 12 weeks old and he learned to lift his leg when he was about a year old, from another dog.

edit note: he squats if he just has to "go", but on walks he stops to mark more frequently than my last intact male dog i had. the silly guy!
