Right now I just hope we get it back. Soon. The insurance says the earliest they call it dead and gone is two weeks. If we don't get it back, the insurance will cover my loan (hopefully...)...but we'll be without a car. And out a deposit for a new car. And we *need* a reliable car for commuting and long distance travel. Michael's car is an accident waiting to happen and the truck...let's just say we're impressed it made the 900mi drive down here.

Bleh. I'd only had it 7 months.

I'm so nervous about this trip, more then being excited. I should be excited, but, of course, I'm more nervous.

F**k,. I'm so sorry. I really hope you'll be able to find out who took your car. Hopefully everything will still be intact.

Sending vibes your way.

*sigh*

Now we're just waiting to hear from the insurance company to figure out what the next step is and when the car is considered gone for good.
I am so sorry. I hope they find the moron that stole your car!!

So I completed a continuing education credit online a few months ago. Had the certificate of completion emailed to me, and held on to the email to print later. Well "later" is today, because I need to send in all my re-certification stuff by the end of the month. So I go to that email to print my certificate and the stupid link doesn't work anymore and I can't access it!!
The whole thing that I did doesn't even exist anymore. It's not like I can even just redo it.

So I spent an hour of my life watching a video about taking cats to vet clinics, and taking a corresponding quiz, for no reason. No reason.

THANK GOD I have other sources for getting CE credits or I would be unbelievably pissed right now if I had to scramble trying to redo that 1 credit.

As much as I hate zombies, for some reason, I decided to watch World War Z.

And I just wanna puke. I don't know why zombies make me feel this way, but I could genuinely throw up right now.

Ugh. Why did I do this. The movie itself isn't that bad, actually. I've seen a lot worse. But omfg the zombies. At first it was fine because you didn't really SEE the zombies that much, or for very long.

Zombieland was fine. I actually loved Zombieland. I just need to give up trying to be okay with zombies, I think. I'm more okay with bees and spiders than I am with zombies.

I actually thought they were a bit more creepy than the usual zombies...the biting/chipmunk teeth chattering thing kind of skeeved me . And don't watch Warm Bodies then...there were 'normal' zombies, and then way far gone super zombies that were creepers.

Does anybody else think I might be crazy/stupid to apply for a vet tech job when I'm allergic to cats? I mean, I'm not deathly allergic. I don't start going anaphylactic. But if cats touch my skin and I don't wash up shortly after, I break out in hives. And woe to me if I toe a cat and then touch my eyes, because they won't stop burning for hours.
I only know for sure this is on the shelter cats, I've not touched somebody's pet cat and tried it (most of my friends have dogs, and those with cats, well, the cats stay at home...) I can't be sure it wasn't something from the not-quite-so-clean shelter environment... the shelter dogs never bothered me, though of course their coats had that nasty, greasy, not super clean feel to them, but it never made my skin break into hives.

Or is this something theoretically I could deal with? Handle a cat, then go scrub down like I'm going into surgery afterward..? I'm just not sure how realistic it is... I know some of you are/have been techs so I figured I might ask. =P Because I'm sort of thinking it won't really work out well. But I really really hate my job right now and nobody else is calling me...

I love zombie culture in general, but I have this weird thing where I legit think a zombie apocalypse could happen... so watching realistic zombie stuff like World War Z and Walking Dead is akin to watching a horror movie. And I don't do well watching horror movies. :P
